Coaches and Directors
Jeff Dellinger is the head Coach of Auburn Aquatics. Jeff has been an integral part of the Auburn swimming community for over 25 years.
Before returning to Auburn Aquatics as a Head Coach, he was a swimmer on Auburn university swim team from 1990 to 1992 and an assistant coach for Auburn Aquatics under Tom Healy from 1993 to1997. In 1997 Jeff became the Head Coach of the Columbus Hurricanes.
Throughout his career Jeff has had the opportunity to work with NCAA champions, Olympic Champions and World champions as well as Age group swimmers and Junior, Senior National, and Olympic Trial qualifiers. All the while he has maintained a close working relationship with the Auburn University Staff. Jeff has elevated Auburn Aquatics to a Bronze Medal Club with more than 150 swimmers. Jeff also coaches the Auburn High School Swim Teams.
The1995 Auburn Alum is married to Pepper, a school teacher. Pepper and Jeff have three children: Laney, Forrest and Olivia.
Erika is our Age Group Head Coach. She joined the Auburn Aquatics staff in the fall of 1992. She is an Auburn University Alumni with a degree in Psychology.
Growing up in Opelika she began swimming with the Auburn club team then known as War Eagle Swim Team, she swam for coach Jimi Flowers. She had wonderful influences early in her coaching career, Erika coached for Tom Healey and later for Ralph Crocker.
Erika has had numerous National Top 16 Age Group Swimmers, Southeastern Swimming Hall of Fame Swimmers and Southeastern All-Stars. Southeastern Swimming 2017 Age Group Coach of the year.
Coach Erika is married to Jeffrey Kinsaul and they have 2 boys, Larsen & Sam.
