Atomic City Aquatic Club (ACAC) is a comprehensive, competitive swim program for young people, and has been providing swimming instruction and competition since its inception in 1951. The club is organized and supported by parents from Oak Ridge, Knoxville, Norris, Kingston, Lenoir City and surrounding areas as a non-profit affiliated with USA Swimming nationally and Southeastern Swimming regionally. Managed by a Board of Directors elected from parent members, ACAC has trained swimmers at every level of accomplishment.  Our swimmers have represented numerous universities, among them Tennessee, Stanford, Texas, Minnesota, Kentucky, Penn State, Indiana State, Auburn, Michigan, and Florida.  ACAC seeks to develop the individual into a complete athlete and to encourage the swimmer as a maturing person and strives to be responsive to family objectives for young people.

Atomic City Aquatic Club is a year round competitive swim team, which offers high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for youth of all ages and abilities. ACAC strives to provide every member an opportunity to improve their swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability – from novice to international competitor.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. Our coaches assure that the time your athlete spends in swimming will be quality time. ACAC is a non profit club, run by an elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and are encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
