Coaching Staff
Samuel Gaddie Head Coach

Sam Gaddie began his coaching career as a High School coach in Memphis Tennessee, where he was born and raised. After several years he grew to become the Head Coach for three separate high school teams in the area, an assistant coach for the Bluff City Blue Fins (a Summer League team), and an assistant coach for Memphis Thunder Aquatic Club’s Senior training group.

In his time with Thunder, the team was able to consistently grow and send a high percentage of swimmers to all levels of college swimming. By the time he left Thunder, the team had improved their National Club Ranking from 247th to 129th in Long Course Meters and 313th to 222nd in Short Course Yards.

In 2014, Sam moved on as a Head Age Group Coach for the Rappahannock Stingrays in Fredericksburg, VA. While with the Rays, Sam coached several age group swimmers and relays to National Top 16 rankings and Virginia Swimming LSC records.

In 2015, Sam moved to Buffalo, NY to work with the Buffalo Area Aquatic Club as their new Head Coach. During his time in in Buffalo, BAAC grew in both numbers and ability moving from a national ranking of 1,247th to 859th and a Niagara LSC ranking of 19th to 9th. Over 50 team records were broken for BAAC during Sam's time with the team, and for the 1st time in the team’s history swimmers were able to represent BAAC at the Futures Championship Meet.

Sam is excited to bring his experiences in the swimming world back to Tennessee and work to help Jackson grow to, and perform at, levels that will turn heads in the swimming community.

Gina Campbell Assistant Coach, Lessons Provider

Born and Raised on the ocean in Long Island, NY, I grew up swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. This instilled a deep sense of love and respect for the water. I surfed, fished, sailed and became a NYS Boating Instructor.

I swam competitively for 4 years at SUNY Maritime College. It was there that I first became a lifeguard and swim instructor as a part time job while going to school. I eventually went on to become Aquatics Director of SUNY Maritime.

For 10 years I have worked with all levels teaching swimming lessons, supervising and directing camps, waterfronts and sailing programs. I have worked at Lifetime Athletic, YMCA, 4H, Girl Scouts and BoyScouts as a lead swimming instructor and trainer. I was tasked with training all new staff. I have built swim lessons, junior lifeguard, and master swim programs for various institutions.

During my tenure with the YMCA in New York I became a certified EMT, Lifeguard Instructor for American Red Cross as well as a certified BLS instructor for American Heart Association.

I love teaching all levels of swimming and watching participants gain new confidence and skills. I'm very excited to join the Jackson Sharks Team and watch participants shine!
