HOORARY FOR MSA!

Hi All,

Sorry this is late on the Hoover Meet Results. My swimmers decided to get sick and go to the Dr. on two (2) different days this week. So, I’m not caught up like I would like to be… That’s why you are probably getting this e-mail after you’ve gone to bed, but at least I can say it was out before the next HSA meet.

The list of swimmers that had their personal best for the Hoover Blue Thunder meet are as follows:

Here are the New/Old MSA Swimmers that added new events to their repertoire: Lauren Brashear, Claire Cheatham, Megan Davies, Emerald Gilbert, Taylor Gilbert, Kailea Moseley, Madeleine Regan, Nichole Rodes, Andrew Shea, Stephanie Shoults, Andrey Tretyakov. This is very important as all swimmers need to keep trying out new events… You never know, you might think that you are originally a sprinter (50’s) and then try a 100 or 200 or more and find out that you really have what it takes for the long swim endurance!

Our First Time Ever New MSA Swimmers Are: Chris Burrows, Devin Kreitz.

Next, congrats to all of the swimmers that made a Southeastern Qualifying Time AND broke a MSA Record Board Time!

Did you know that the Hoover Over-All High Point Swimmer for the 9-10 Boys Category was Andrew Shea! Congrats Andrew! You haven’t missed a beat in aging up from the 8 & Unders! Go Andrew, Go Andrew, It was your Birthday, It was your Birthday… AWESOME!

O.k. Now for the Moment You Have Been Waiting For:

The Hoover MSA Biggest Looser is… Nichole Rodes! Nichole swam the 1650 Free (for all of you new folks that’s a mile, yes “The Blue Mile”) And Nichole dropped -57.27 seconds! Nichole missed the 13-14 Girls cut for a Southeastern Time by 1.64 seconds. WAY TO NICHOLE AND I bet if you have any arms/legs/lungs left for the next 1650, you’ll surely get it!

Again, please forgive me if I’ve forgotten anyone or missed spelled any names and for the delay in the results… At least I have a little more time between the HSA and MSA meet.

Note: If you have a swimmer that is aging-up before SES and they have obtained the next level, please make sure to let me know… I don’t always have everyone’s birthdays in front of me…

Again, Congrats to all and look out HSA! Here comes MSA!
