Program Structure:

Rec Dive:  This class will focus on the fundamental skill and drills in the sport of diving. Divers will learn how to safely complete their approach, take off and entry position in the water while also focusing on their dryland and trampoline skills. This class may seem repetitive due to the amount of attention needed on the fundamental level. We ask parents to be patient while this class is meant to perfect basic skills that will influence the rest of a divers career. Dives will be offered chances to compete if they wish, but are not required to. 1 & 2 are the same class, just offered at different days.

Bronze Team: This class will build on the fundamental skills learned in the recreation class. Divers will now be expected to learn all diving categories which include Front, Back, Reverse, Inward and Twisting. At this point divers will also be introduced to skills on the 3 meter and platform.  Although not required, at this point we encourage divers to start competing at the local AAU, middle school & High school level to gain competition experience.

Silver Team: This class offers a broader range of competition opportunities both at the local and national level. Divers are expected to have competition list on both the 1 meter and 3 meter springboards. Platform dives will be introduced once spring board expectations are met. Divers are encouraged to attend AAU & USA Diving National level competitions at this point.

Gold Team: This class is offered to divers competing at the US National and International level of diving. Divers are required to compete in all three events which include 1 Meter, 3 Meter and Platform at USA National Level Competitions. At this point, divers are required to train throughout the entire year including the summer USA Diving meets being the main focus.

Homeschool Class: This group offers day time training and competition for all skill levels and ages. Middle school divers are required to learn 4 dives for the regular season, 6 dives for the championship KISL meet. High school divers are required to learn 6 dives for the regular season, 11 dives for the Championship TISCA State Meet. Non competitive divers will progress at their own rate based on interest level.
