Long Course Season Kicks Off with Speedo Invitational!
Despite not having seen a long course pool in almost two years, PCST swimmers took advantage of a chance to race at the 2021 Speedo Long Course Invitational at Frank Brown Park May 15-16. The meet featured nearly 400 swimmers from Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Ohio. PCST was led by swimmers Shane McEliece and Blair Wootson. Shane won three individual events in the Senior Boys age group and set two new PCST Team Records. Blair won five individual events in the 11-12 Boys age group. Additional individual event winners included Mackenzie Byrne(1x), Brooke Dorr(1x), Mason Gonczol(1x), Colin McEliece(1x), and Keely Stevenson(1x). PCST swimmers achieved 30 new Southeastern Championship Qualifying Times. Congratulations to all swimmers for their efforts and a big thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who made the meet possible. Here are some statistics from the meet:
