Five Tsunamis Named SES Age Group All-Stars! Five PCST swimmers have been named as Age Group All-Stars of the Southeastern Swimming LSC for the 2019-2020 Short Course season. The award highlights outstanding achievements in the pool for the 8&U, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14 age groups. Blair Wootson qualified in both the 9&10 and 11&12 Boys age groups. Gip Crye qualified in the 11&12 Boys division. Mason Gonczol and Shane McEliece both qualified in the 13&14 Boys division. Chloe Reed qualified in the 11&12 Girls division. Great job everyone at our first Fun Meet of the 2020 Summer Splashes Season. Thanks to everyone for helping us with maintaining our social distancing and allowing the kids such a fun evening. We saw some outstanding swims and hope that the kids really enjoyed themselves. Now we have some goals to shoot for as we continue to improve over the next few weeks. Championship Season Kicks Off at Region 4 Championships! Panama City Swim Team opened the Short Course Championship season at the SES Region 4 Championships in Pensacola. The meet featured nearly 400 swimmers representing teams from Florida and Alabama. There were some unbelievable lifetime best times put up by our swimmers at this meet, and many swimmers placed in the top 8, scoring team points for PCST. Tsunamis Kick Off New Season at 10&U Quad Meet! Mark Ebel & Allison Lewis Medal at Masters Championship Meets! Mark Ebel Places Seventh at FINA Masters World Championship! Congratulations to PCST Masters swimmer Mark Ebel who placed 7th in the 100 meter Butterfly at the FINA Masters World Championships in Montreal, Canada.  The meet featured more than 6000 athletes from more than 50 countries around the globe.  Mark also competed in the 200 meter IM, 100 meter Freestyle, and 800 meter Freestyle. Ratliff Ends PCST Career With 2 Team Records! In his last meet with the Tsunamis before heading to Florida State University, Jonathan Ratliff set two new PCST Team Records.  Ratliff, swimming at the 2014 USA Swimming Junior National Championships in Irvine, California established new marks in the 50 meter Butterfly (26.85) and 100 meter Butterfly (57.28).  Jonathan additionally swam to a lifetime best time of 54.17 in the 100 meter Freestyle, which is the third fastest time all time for PCST.  Congratulations to Jonathan and good luck with the Seminoles!
