Junior James Tracey punctuated the week-long NCSA Junior National championships in Orlando, FL with an exclamation by erasing the 30-year-old team record in the 1,650-yd freestyle to earn his second-ever GPAC record and new life-best time. In addition to this, he, along with teammates William Henderson, 16, Walker Parra, 17, and Tanker Speck, 17, eclipsed the team record in the 200-yd freestyle relay by just .01 seconds to add their names to the books.

Tanker Speck swam five out of eight personal best times at the meet, including leading off two of the freestyle relays in new best times. He also shaved time off his 200-yd backstroke, which he just dropped back at the Southeastern Swimming championships last month.

William Henderson swam new best times leading off the 400-yd freestyle relay and in the 50-yd freestyle, which his time was good for a new ‘AAAA’ time.

GPAC is proud of these swimmers who went to compete against some of the fastest 18-and-unders in the country.
