2019 Fall Clinic Series
October 15 to November 12, 2019
Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club (GPAC) will present a series of swimming clinics to both middle school and high school swimmers currently enrolled in grades 6-12. The clinics will run every Tuesday and Thursday evening beginning at 7:30 pm until 8:20 pm at University of West Florida Aquatic Center.
The clinics will be aimed at providing swimmers with proven techniques to enhance their swimming and racing skills, improve starts and turns, and challenge the swimmers in a team practice setting. They will also prepare the current or perspective middle school swimmer for the upcoming season in Escambia County.
These clinics are NOT swim lessons, and are designed for athletes with some competitive experience, or those looking to try out for a middle school or varsity team. The ability to swim 25-yds freestyle or backstroke is required.
The clinics will be coached and directed by GPAC’s Age Group coach Alex Gillespie. Alex is a USA Swimming certified swim coach, who has professionally coached all levels of swimming for more than a decade!
The cost of the entire series of clinics is only $62.00 before October 14th, then $73.00 thereafter.
Drop-in, or “per clinic” rates are $10.00 for each date (limited space for per-clinic swimmers).
The clinics are limited to the first 20 registered swimmers!
