Coronado Swim Association (CSA) is a proud member of the USA Swimming organization. We've provide competitive swimming programs, year-round, from the beginner to elite level, and seasonal teams since 1963!

Originally known as the Coronado Navy Swim Association (CNSA) the team began its legacy while training on US Naval Installation known as Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) commonly referred to as just "North Island" to those around Coronado. The team would train at the Navy Pool near Breakers Beach and gave way to the name CNSA Breakers. In 2001 due to changes in policy with US Federal Military Installation CNSA relocated its operations to the Coronado Community Center. In 2009 the team moved over to the Coronado High School's pool, the Brian Bent Memorial Aquatic Center. In 2015, "Navy" was removed from the team's name in order to signify members were not required to be affiliated with the Navy in order to join the team.

In 2020, in the midst of the global pandemic brought about by COVID-19, CSA began it's journey and partnership with Legendary Coach David Marsh's Team Elite Stingrays. Bringing our two programs together, creating what is now Coronado Swim Association- Team Elite or CSTE.

CSTE employs professional coaches, offering high quality technique instruction and training for all ages. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and to challenge young athletes to reach their full potential, in and out of the pool.
