Renegade Aquatics

Pending final permission from the facility management, Renegade Aquatics is set to return to the water on Monday, June 15!  As you might expect, there will be a LOT of changes required so that we operate in the best interests of your children, with their safety paramount.  Please review the documentation included in this NEWS update, share it with your children, and bring the required forms to your first practice.

For a summary of the re-opening plans that we will follow, please refer to these documents:

Renegade Re-Open Plan         Re-Open Addendum

The county of San Diego has also required completion of public notices and provided educational handouts (which are also display in the club windows as you approach the side gate):

County Re-Open Statement        Youth Sports Protocol       COVID Poster 1       COVID Poster 2

There are 2 waivers that must be completed and turned in before your child may resume practicing.  These can either be brought to the pool or emailed to [email protected] :

County Waiver  (previously emailed)       RAQ/USA Swimming Waiver

Here is a report of the current camp roster groups, based on practice days and times:

Finally, as most should be aware, all swimmers are required to provide their own training equipment in the interest of personal safety.  While supplies last, you may purchase a 'package' of used equipment (fins, board, buoy) for $20.  If you prefer to purchase new items, there will be some for sale:  $6 for a mesh bag, $7 for a pull buoy, $7 for a kickboard, $18 for fins, or $35 for a package of all 4 ($28 if no buoy needed).

We look forward to seeing everyone this week at the pool.  It is great to finally be back to doing what we enjoy.  I can't wait to see everyone!
