TRYOUTS FOR RSD SWIM TEAM

Thank you for your interest in RSD Swim Team!

UPDATE: July 2021

Due to limited programming, small group sizes, and safety protocols related to COVID-19:

  • Our monthly tryouts have been suspended.
  • Our introductory and pre-competitive practice groups are at capacity.

Unfortunately, even with California "opening/opened up" and decreased covid-restrictions, our team will not see a large increase in available spots on the team. With less restrictions we can make changes to our group sizes and return to pre-covid structure. We will become more efficient with our daily practices by merging two smaller waves back to one group, which doesn't necessarily open up new spots (i.e. two waves of 18 merge and return as one group of 36...which is still at capacity). Updates will be posted here when we have room for more team members.

We have a limited number of open spots in our more competitive practice groups for swimmers with prior team experience. If you have competitive swim team experience, please review the “transferring from another team” info below.

While you wait please review the minimum skills to join and work on these as needed.

Swim lessons are offered at our location, more info can be found here: https://bgcsandieguito.org/programs/aquatics/
