The Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and other experts, has imposed a Provincewide Shutdown effective Saturday, December 26, 2020, at 12:01 a.m. The current COVID-19 Response Framework will be paused during the Provincewide Shutdown and will last 28 days in Southern Ontario. This update will postpone all Highlands Trailblazers Ski Programs until January 23, 2021. Highlands Nordic is categorized as an Outdoor Recreational Amenity and will be operational during the Shutdown. Please visit their website for more details. Happy holidays and stay safe!

Highlands Trailblazers has great news for you. We are about to build the very first Biathlon range in Ontario and we are building it right here at Highlands Nordic. Presently, as you know, our Biathletes must travel even for practice. This is costly (approximately $3 000. per year) and requires the athletes to miss a great deal of school (often a week at a time). Even with these conditions, our Biathletes have done amazingly well.
