  WOW!! is probably the best way to describe the performances of the seven athletes that represented AquaSol at the South West Age Group Championships March 21-24. All of these athletes had competed a few weeks prior at Junior Olympics.     Senior swimmers, Kyle Lehr and Patrick Sammon, traveled to Carlsbad, California the last weekend of February for the Speedo Sectional Championships.  This is a qualifying standard meet with the top senior swimmers from California and Nevada competing against one another.  There were over 900 swimmers competing at the meet.   Over the course of four days both Kyle and Patrick had excellent swims.  Kyle Lehr posted best times in the 50/ 100 & 200 freestyles and the 100 backstroke.  In the 200 freestyle Kyle qualified for the bonus...

  Congratulations to Avery Pellicano!     Each year, USA swimming awards a top 10 for swimmers across the nation over the short course and long course season. Avery placed 10th in the nation for the 2017-2018 season for 11 year old boys in the long course 1500 mile. His time of 19:12.94 placed him 3rd at Far Westerns for 11/12 boys (1st for 11 year old boys), and was also a new team record for AquaSol. Awesome job to Avery for representing AquaSol in the USA swimming Top 10!

Senior Western Zones, 2018 Arena Senior Western Zone Championships in Clovis, Ca. Qualifying meet run in a trials and finals format. Over 1,250 swimmers from the Western United States competing in championships. 12 swimmers from AquaSol traveled to compete in the meet:  Keilani Curry, Skylar Hayward, McKenna Peterson, Analeis Vos, Kolya Vos, Kyle Lehr, Austen Pellicano, Logan Peterson, Thomas Pipkin, Patrick Sammon, Paul Vos and Gary Woo.   CCA Meet – A record breaking meet for AquaSol!   AquaSol had a record 35 swimmers combining for over 150 best times at the CCA Spooktacular meet in Roseville, October 3-5. Four AquaSol swimmers combined to set 15 new team records. Several coaches commented on the number of orange caps swimming fast at the meet!   Kyle Lehr represented the Aquasol Swim Team racing as part of the Sierra Nevada's Western Zone age group travel team.  Fifty four (54) swimmers from our LSC were chosen to form the travel team that raced in Federal Way, Washington.  The team left on Tuesday morning (8/5/14) and started racing on Thursday.  This was a ong course meters, trials and finals meet with the meet finishing late on Saturday night.   At the meet, Kyle made the finals in the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle and 200 backstroke. ...

  The Senior group from the Aquasol Swim Team was represented by eight (8) swimmers at the Senior Western Zone Championships in Clovis, California, July 31st – August 3rd, 2014.  There were over 1,200 swimmers representing eight different states at the swim meet.  The meet hosts used two different facilities with 50 meter pools at both locations.  This helped keep the time line in check and still offered great opportunities to swim fast.   The Senior group took advantage of the facilities and the competition and had a great meeting...
