Congratulations to Patrick Sammon who committed to swim for Arizona State University next fall! Patrick will begin his career as a Sun Devil in the fall of 2021, joining a very competitive class of incoming swimmers. ASU is a member of the Pac 12 which is considered one of the Big 5 sport conferences in Division I sports. He will be joining one of the top 20 mens swimming programs in the US! Ave’ Owens, Analeis Vos and Patrick Sammon competed at the Sectional Championships during the week of March 8th, 2021. The meet was a trials and finals, short course yards meet. Each swimmer swam extremely well posting new best times, making new qualifying times and competing in the finals! At the end of February the 13 and up swimmers from AquaSol swim team raced in its first dual meet in over a year. The team raced against Wolverine Aquatics. Congratulations to the fourteen AquaSol athletes that were recognized as a 2019-2020 Sierra Nevada Scholar-Athlete because of their academic achievements and dedication to the sport of swimming. This past weekend USA Swimming hosted the 2020 Toyota U.S.. Open Championships from Thursday, November 12th to Saturday, November 14th. This year the meet was broken into eight locations throughout the U.S.. One of the locations on the west coast was in Irvine, CA. and was being hosted at the William Wollett Jr. Aquatics Center. Brandon brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and great energy to our team and we are so thankful he is joining us on deck.   WOW!! is probably the best way to describe the performances of the seven athletes that represented AquaSol at the South West Age Group Championships March 21-24. All of these athletes had competed a few weeks prior at Junior Olympics.     Senior swimmers, Kyle Lehr and Patrick Sammon, traveled to Carlsbad, California the last weekend of February for the Speedo Sectional Championships.  This is a qualifying standard meet with the top senior swimmers from California and Nevada competing against one another.  There were over 900 swimmers competing at the meet.   Over the course of four days both Kyle and Patrick had excellent swims.  Kyle Lehr posted best times in the 50/ 100 & 200 freestyles and the 100 backstroke.  In the 200 freestyle Kyle qualified for the bonus...
