AquaSol competes in dual meet with Elk Grove!

Darin Mai

AquaSol swimmers were very excited to be back in the pool and racing!  The swimmers dove in the water over the weekend of March 20 & 21 to compete in a dual meet with Elk Grove Aquatic Club in Elk Grove.  The meet included swimmers of all age groups and was a timed final meet swam in short course yards.

This was the first meet for the majority of the team for 2021 and the first meet for the team competing in the Sierra Nevada Virtual Club Championships!  The excitment of racing carried into the water as the team looked very good in each session!  The team had 88 swimmers compete in the meet!  There were over 300+ best times recorded for the team!  Wow!!!

Congratulations to Ave Bui for breaking the team record in the 9 & 10 girls 50 yard backstroke!  She posted a time of :34.77!

Congratulations to all the swimmers for racing so well at the meet!  We look forward to seeing everyone racing again in April.  Keep your weekend open for April 24th & 25th as we are currently working on another dual meet.  The plan is to host the meet and race against the Rocklin Mavericks.
