Day 1 of the SNS Spring Champs went… GREAT! Guys the weather was even better then anticipated and each swimmer got a piece of the pie. We even had some Finalists tonight. DART Swimming won the overall team championship at the USA Swimming sectionals meet at the College of Marin March 2-5. The meet featured many of the top teams and swimmers from Northern California. The meet is the first of several levels of National level meets offered by USA Swimming. Congratulations to the 44 DART swimmers who were recently recognized as Sierra Nevada Scholar Athletes for their academic achievements and dedication to the sport of swimming. To be eligible for this award, Sierra Nevada Athletes had to have been in the 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th Grade during the 2021-2022 academic year with a minimum GPA of 3.25 or higher.
