  • We extend our sincerest apologies for the slight delay in delivering this information. Enclosed, you will find the essential documents for the 2023 Senior Travel Program. The guidelines for the program, as well as the reimbursement form, remain consistent with those of the Spring program. 

    Excitingly, a new feature has been introduced this summer. Participants now have the option to receive reimbursements via direct payment provider, Zelle. Attached herewith, you will discover the Zelle form, which needs to be completed for those opting for direct bank account deposits rather than receiving a traditional check.

The Spring 2023 SNS Senior Travel Reimbursement Submission Period is NOW OPEN.  Please view the Rules Info Sheet linked below for specifics and details regarding the Program.  Forms to be considered for the Spring 2023 Period of the Program must be received by no later than TUESDAY, APRIL 18, 2023, 11:59 PM PST.

Sierra Nevada 2021 Olympic Trial Funding
Below are the guidelines for SNS Athletes and SNS Teams/Coaching Staffs to receive funding for their participation in the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials to be held in Omaha, NE this June 2021:
  • Athlete Reimbursement
    • All athletes that meet criteria are eligible for a maximum $1,500.00 in reimbursement from Sierra Nevada Swimming
    • Clubs Teams must submit for reimbursement one (1) week after the completion of U.S. Olympic Trials or before
    • Sierra Nevada may ask for detailed expenditures as overpayment to an Athlete can jeopardise their NCAA and Amateur eligibility
  • Eligibility Criteria
  1. Only athletes that qualify and are going to represent a Sierra Nevada Club Team (Primary Team - not Secondary) at U.S. Olympic Trials are eligible for Sierra Nevada Reimbursement
  2. For an athlete to be eligible, they must hold continuous Sierra Nevada registration for the following periods of time and be in good standing with their Club Team to receive reimbursement:
    • Athletes who have represented Sierra Nevada for at least 18 continuous months will be eligible for reimbursement
  3. College athletes that swam with a Sierra Nevada Club Team before college and will be representing a Sierra Nevada Club Team at U.S. Olympic Trials are eligible for reimbursement based on their Club Team membership prior to college.  Athletes may not receive any additional funding or support from another entity including USA Swimming or a University.  
  • Club Team/Coaching Staff Funding
    • Club Teams will be eligible for a maximum of $1,000.00 per wave.  Club Teams will be eligible for funding only if they have an athlete or athletes that qualify and represent that Sierra Nevada Club Team (Primary Team - not Secondary) at U.S. Olympic Trials
