We are sorry that you missed our final clinic for the year.  We would love to have you fill in this interest form so that we can organize a clinic for those who missed out when we have enough interest. This is for Administrative Officials or Stroke + Turn.

Meanwhile, save the date : October 1, 2022 8:00-11:00 AM for the single ANNUAL clinic that must be attended by all Sierra Nevada Officials.  Even if you attend a clinic this year, you must attend the October 1st clinic and register for the next year at that time. Please put it on your calendar and ask all your teammates to join in.  It is open to anyone who wants to be involved in swim meets.

  • On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 7:00 - 9:00 PM, our LSC will host a SNS Officials Clinic (Zoom Format) for Prospective (new) & Returning Officials
    • Will fulfill the yearly required Clinic Attendance for the 2021-2022 Season
  • On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, 7:00 - 8:00 PM our LSC will host a SNS Officials Long Course Clinic (Zoom Format)
    • With Long Course Season approaching, a refresher concerning the differences and nuances of Officiating at a Long Course Meet

Sierra Nevada Swimming will host a Clinic for Experienced Administrative Referees (AR) & Administrative Officials (AO) on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2021 @ 6:30 PM.

Mark Brown (SNS Registrar, Membership & Meet Sanctions) will be the instructor & moderator for the Clinic.

On SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2021, Sierra Nevada Swimming will host its "ONLY" Officials Clinic for the 2021-2022 Season (With a tiny caveat, I know that we have some firefighters working hard, and some medical professionals working hard too.  When the fire season is over we'll hold a clinic for you all when you are able to come up for air.). Please see details/agenda below and at: https://www.snofficials.com/meets.  Additional information will be posted on the website including registration forms over the next couple of weeks.

  • 9:00 AM-11:00 AM  
    • Mandatory Annual Officials Clinic is for EVERYONE: New (individuals wanting to start process towards becoming a certified Official), Existing Officials, and Official Curious
  • 11:00 AM -12:00 PM  
    • Continuation Meeting for NEW Officials (Q & A) to answer more specifics on getting started/how to information. If you are a NEW Official, please register for this clinic as well (You MUST do both clinics if you are new)
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM 
    • Meeting for Existing Officials Interested in Growing and Training for a new Position (CJ, Starter, Deck Referee, Admin, Meet Ref) and will have break out rooms to answer your specific questions about each of these positions

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM:    Chief Judge Clinic (New + Existing)

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM:   Starter Clinic (New + Existing)

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM:   Deck Referee Clinic (Experienced Starters + New + Existing DR’s)

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM:   Administrative Clinic (Admin Official/Admin Referee)
