WHITE WATER AQUATICS SWIM CLINIC

WWA will be running a 6 week swim clinic from August 17 till September 25 (30 practices).
Swimmers will learn proper stroke fundamentals as they get conditioned during their clinics.
This clinic includes dryland exercises (both strength and stretching) & talks for swimmers that include topics such as mental health and goal setting.
*Each Swimmer will receive a free White Water Aquatics cap*

PRACTICE TIMES

  • 14 & Up [ 6:00AM - 7:30AM, first 30 mins will be dry land ] @ Orangevale Community Pool. 
  • 14 & Under [ 7:30PM - 9:00PM, first 30 mins will be dry land ] @ Orangevale Community Pool.

$250 / Per Swimmer for 30 x 1.5 hour clinic sessions. 

WWA & COVID - 19 RESTRICTIONS
Due to the restrictions of Covid - 19, White Water Aquatics will be following the rules of the CDC and what is acceptable by the county guidelines. Right now, teams are able to swim with 2 per lane. Orangevale Pool has 8 lanes which will max out our clinics at 16 per. WWA will have 2 coaches on deck to help advise and watch over each side of the pool deck. Swimmers will need to take a tempurature check and be asked questions pertaining to the symptoms of Covid-19 before stepping into the practice. Swimmers and coaches are required to wear masks when communicating in close proximities of each other unless the swimmer is in the pool. 

COACHES
The WWA swim clinics will be ran by Coach Donny Mata and Coach Mike Chavez. Coach Donny will head the practice of the 14&Up group while Coach Mike heads the practice for the 14&Under group.

USA SWIMMING MEMBERSHIP
WWA is a USA Swimming affiliated club team and this clinic will require all athletes to register their athlete as at least a Seasonal Member of USA Swimming. USAS covers the team's insurance policy. The seasonal membership for USAS is $30.
