The Wolverine Aquatics Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Wolverine Aquatics Club to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

This is our Top group for 8 and under.

Swimming at Sierra College

Pre Senior 1 Group

Top Group for Middle School. Minimum age for entry into this group is 11 years old. Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. Training takes precedence over technique work for the first time in the athletes development. Athletes in this group train for the 200's of Stroke, 400 Individual Medley, 500, 1000, and 1650 Freestyle.


Pre Senior Group 1 Coach: Kainoa 
 

Pre Senior 2/3 Group

Middle School Group. Minimum age for entry into this group is 11 years old. Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in this group. Training takes precedence over technique work for the first time in the athletes development. Athletes in this group train for the 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyles.


Pre Senior Group 2 Coach: TBD

 

Senior 1 Group

Top High School / College group. Minimum age for entry into this group is 14. Athletes entering the Senior group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. Athletes in the Senior group are directed towards making their Sectional/Futures/Junior National/National/Olympic Trial Time Standards. Minimum training sets include:

30x100 @ 1:15
6x200 IM @ 2:30

Senior 1 Group Coach: Chris 

 

Senior 2 Group

High School / College group. Minimum age for entry into this group is 14. Athletes entering the Senior group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. Athletes in the Senior group are directed towards making their California-Nevada Sectional Time Standards. Minimum training sets include:
