It is a useful resource which includes a variety of useful information to help navigate being apart of the WST swim team. Below are a few resources that will help you and your swimmer have a successful swimming career:
- Swimoutlet is a perfect place to shop for all your eqipment needs including suits, googles and swim bags. Visit the Woodland Swim Team Store on SwimOutlet to find gear with our WST logo.
- The USA Swimming website has a plethera of information for parents and swimmers, This is a great place to look for time standards and meet results.
- Use the OME Swim Connection website to sign up for swim meets.
- The Sierra Nevada Swim Connection site is another useful place to find meets results, times and top times in our LSC.
Outreach Program
Outreach membership offers qualified individuals the opportunity to become a USA Swimming year-round athlete member at a reduced fee. The goal is to provide opportunities in swimming to under-represented and/or economically disadvantaged youth. The current USA Swimming Outreach Athlete membership fee is $8.00 by credit card and $7 if mailed.
Other than the membership fee, an Outreach Athlete member is not distinguishable from an Athlete member. Applicants for Outreach Membership must be eligible for food stamps, eligible for free or reduced price school lunch programs, or eligible for Section 8 Public Housing. You will need to provide a photocopy of an approved application for one of the programs with a Outreach Membership Application with your application.
