Established in 1955, the Neptune Swim Team is one of the oldest swimming teams in Northern California. The club is organized to teach and enhance competitive swimming abilities through the basic principles and fundamentals of training and competitive swimming. All phases of amateur competitive swimming is promoted while offering a consistent program designed to allow athletes to achieve their potential. The team operates on a year round basis and is open to all levels of swimmers from age five through college age. The Neptunes use Ridgway Swim Center. Ridgway pool is staffed and operated by their respective city's Recreation & Park Department. Throughout the years, the Neptunes have consistently produced many of the regions top swimmers from age group champions to Olympic Gold Medalist.
