SEASONAL SWIMMING INFORMATION

 

Neptune Swimming offers four 10-week sessions of non-competitive, beginner-level swimming per swim season.  Our focus for these groups will be stroke instruction, movement and skill understanding, endurance development, and most of all fun! Neptune Non-Competitive swimmers do not participate in swim meets and the families will not have any volunteer hours to fulfill.

 

2022-2023 Session Dates:

Session A: September 12, 2022 - November  18, 2022 - CLOSED

Session B: January 9, 2023 - March 17, 2023 - CLOSED 

Session C: March 20, 2023 -  May 26, 2023 -

Registration opens:

FOR CURRENT RETURNING MEMBERS - FEBRUARY 20, 2023 @ 11:00 AM.

FOR NEW MEMBERS - FEBRUARY 27, 2023 @ 11:00 AM.

Session D: May 29, 2023 - August 4, 2023 - Registration opens -TBA

Registration opens :

FOR CURRENT RETURNING MEMBERS - APRIL 02, 2023 @ 11:00 AM.

FOR NEW MEMBERS - April 9, 2023 @ 11:00 AM.

 

Each group will take between 16 and 20 swimmers per session.

All swimmers must be water safe, and should be able to float on their back and progress through the water. 

 

Fees:

Guppies, Otters, Sharks 1, Sharks 2 (ages 4-7) :

$300.00 per session, plus USA Swimming Membership - $86.00

 

Nickel 1 and Nickel 2 (ages 7-11):

$350.00 per session, plus USA Swimming Membership - $86.00

 

Platinum 1 and Platinum 2 (ages 11-14)

$350.00 per session, plus USA Swimming Membership - $86.00

 

Practices:

Practices are two days a week for 30 minutes for Guppies, Otters, Sharks 1 & 2.  

• Depending on skill levels and age, athletes will progress from Guppies to Otters, Otters to Sharks 1, Sharks 1 to Sharks 2, Sharks 2 to year-round team.

Practices are two days a week for 45 minutes for Nickel & Platinum groups

• Depending on skill levels and age, athletes will progress from Nickel to Platinum, from Platinum to year-round team.
