2022 TISCA State Meet
Congratulations to all our Excel swimmers who were representing their High School teams at the Tennessee Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association State Championship Meet. We had swimmers competing on 13 different teams from all across Middle Tennessee.
While we had lots to celebrate, there were a couple of standout performances. Congratulations to Zoe Summar who won both the 200 IM (2:00.31) and the 100 Back (54.19). Both swims were fastest enough to set both Centennial High School and Excel Aquatics team records.
Congratulations also to the Ravenwood girls 200 Free Relay who won with 3 Excel Swimmers on it. The team of Lana Cartailler, Caroline Gray, Maddie Schaefer and Morgan Carteaux (Ensworth Aquatics) swam a 1:37.25 to out touch Baylor’s 1:37.27!
We also had the Excel Aquatics 15 and Over 50 Back record set by Gabe Luepke as he led off Franklin High School’s 200 Medley Relay. Gabe’s 23.70 was .01 under the existing record set last year.
