October Open Meet Report

Congratulations to all our Excel Swimmers who swam in the 2022 October Open this weekend. This meet was mainly for our developmental groups so our focus was on techniques and race strategies. Additionally, we were thrilled with the team attitude and support of each other. For most of the meet, we had a wall of swimmers lining the race course watching their teammates. Our coaching staff (as many as 12 at any session) had a lot of fun watching newer swimmers learn how navigate through a multi-session meet. We want to thank all of our Excel parents who volunteered as timers, meet-marshals, clerk of course and officials. Our swimming community is a village and we know our Meet Host was very grateful for your efforts.
