Welcome everyone to the 2020 H20 Swift Summer Swim Team season.

I am Jason Schmeltzer, the owner of Aquaswift Aquatics, our USA swimming program here in Boerne. We are all really excited for this upcoming season. As we all know getting the kids back in the pool and having some fun is our main priority right now so I want to share some of our safety rules and team objectives for the first few weeks.

We will be following the local and state safety guidelines as well as the CDC.

Entering the Pool Area:

Our staff will be at the side parking lot gate to greet the kids before each practice. At this time we ask that the kids leave personal belongings by the gate. The swimmers can bring in swimming equipment, sandals or water shoes and a towel.

We ask that parents observe from outside the pool area. If you have any questions one of our coaches will be available 5 minutes prior to the groups start time.

The swimmers can come on the deck once the coaches check them in as we must clear the deck area after each session.

Team information:

We have ordered caps, shirts, kick boards and a swim bag for every swimmer. These items will be distributed the 2nd week of practice. In addition to these items our VIRTUAL TEAM STORE will be open Monday June 8th to order additional equipment (goggles, fins, team spirit wear).  The link will be posted on the website later this week.

“Theme weeks”:

To make things fun we will have a special theme every week. Every Friday practice we will announce the following week's theme. Winners of the Theme Weeks will be getting some great prizes from our Team sponsor SPEEDO and will be featured on our Facebook Page….

Swim meets:

We will have our first Inter-squad meet on Saturday June 27th at our pool.  More information to follow on this. We hope to have a few additional meets with other summer teams as they get up and running.

Throughout the summer we plan to have additional special events and maybe even a special guest come by as well.

We have decided to extend the season through July 24th with a final meet July 25th.
