AQTX Waterpolo Membership Info

For those who are already registered with AquaTex there is nothing more to do. Just show up for practice. For newcomers, you can try two practices at no cost after which you must register via the club's Team Unify site. When registering select the group "Water Polo" if your athlete plans only on playing water polo, or "Swim/Polo" if he or she wants to both swim and play water polo for AquaTex. Every member of AquaTex Swim and Water Polo Team must re-register every August.

AquaTex Waterpolo Gear

The Gear Stores open at certain intervals throughout the year. See the Gear page to get suits and shirts to support your team. Our athletes are strongly encouraged to wear team suits at games. You are welcome/encouraged to wear them at practice too.

Water Safety

To be sure all of our players are water-safe, new players must be able to swim 50 yards and tread water for four minutes with his or her chin above the water.

Participation in AquaTex Water Polo is an obligation to your teammates and a commitment to each of their individual opportunities for development, as well as to your team and to yourself. AquaTex coaches understand that the club's players are active and involved in many diverse and challenging activities, and we understand that conflicts may arise. We are committed to the development of well-rounded young athletes, so we understand when conflicts occasionally interfere with AquaTex events. In recognition of the commitment that our players have made to their teammates, all players and their parents should consider every practice, game and tournament to be as important to their teammates’ development as to their own.
