Congratulations to Sophia Carroll who committed to continue her academic and swim career at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa!! Sophia has been a lifelong member of the Wave and is currently a Senior Gold swimmer. She is a very accomplished swimmer, qualifying for Jr STAGS, STAGS, UIL Regionals, and UIL State. It’s official !! Harold Christiansen has won the runoff election and is now your South Texas Swimming Athlete Representative. The Athlete Representatives serve as the liaison between the athletes who are members of South Texas Swimming and the Board of Directors and House of Delegates. Athlete Representatives will serve on committees, attend required Board meetings, and have the opportunity to attend USA Swimming workshops and/or conventions.
