Steve Jones CAA Head Coach/Owner & CP Lead Coach

I have been coaching swimming for more than 35 years, at the summer league, high school, adult masters, and club levels. I started CAA (formerly LCA) in 2000 with just five swimmers. I don't want to bore you with all of the great stuff that my swimmers have achieved. That is important to them, and theirs to share. So, let's skip that and let me share with you how I coach. I coach every swimmer on our team. I coach swimmers at every level, with every ability, and with every desire. I don't coach for the awards to put on my shelf, but rather, for every athlete to be the best version of themselves. The process is long, there are no shortcuts, and I believe that #workworks. See you on the pool deck!

Caitlyn Goodfellow Strength&Conditioning Coach, Cedar Park

Caitlyn relocated to the Austin area four years ago to become Vista Ridge High School’s head swim coach. She has been coaching swim for five years and is passionate about developing swimmers to achieve success in athleticism as well as water safety. During her five years of coaching at the high school level, she has coached a variety of levels from beginning swimmers, competitive swimmers, and advanced swimmers who have continued on to collegiate levels. During the summer, she also enjoys coaching summer league to help swimmers of all ages improve their skill sets and dedication to the sport.

Cooper Robinson Lead Coach, Lakeway

Coach Cooper has been involved with swimming for more than 15 years, both as an athlete and as a coach. He started swimming when he was in 8th grade and has continued to love the sport ever since. He swam for Texas Christian University, where he was able to qualify for the US Olympic Trials and NCAAs. He has been a part of the coaching staff with CAA since 2015, first as an assistant coach, and now as the lead coach for the CAA-Lakeway location. He has enjoyed working with every swimmer from the Lakeway location and every swimmer on the LCA team. Cooper has also been a part of the coaching staff with the Lakeway Lakers summer league team since 2017. He finds it extremely rewarding to teach young swimmers to have fun and to improve their swimming, while loving the sport!
