The Sienna Sharks is a summer recreation league offered by Sienna Premier Aquatics. They offer high quality coaching and technical instruction for swimmers with the goal of developing swimming skills, promoting individual improvement, providing an enjoyable and rewarding experience, developing good sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, and most importantly HAVING FUN!
Our coaching staff provides assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time. We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain an enjoyable recreational swim team.
Here are a few key points about the Sharks...
* All swim practices and swim meets take place in Sienna at Club Sienna (Bucket Pool).
* All Shark swimmers are placed on 1 of 4 teams and compete against the other teams during the duration of the season.
* All swimmers are eligible to participate in our swim meets. Each Tri-Meet usually has approximately 150 swimmers eligible to participate. The Championship Meet is for all teams and has 200+ swimmers.
* Our swim meets cannot exist without parent volunteers. We need approximately 40 volunteers at each meet.
*At the end of the season, all Sharks swimmers are eligible to join SPA Swim Team. No additional evaluation is needed. SPA Coaches will place the swimmer in the proper practice group and the swimmer can register at any time in July to begin with SPA.
