Coach Application - Deadline 2/25

2023 All-Stars- NEW 4-TEAM FORMAT March 24-26, 2022, at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, FL.

The 2023 All-Star meet has a new winner take all format based on the application, draft, and schedule below. One team will have bragging rights…until next year!

The Competition Schedule: The competition runs from Friday, 3/24, in the evening through Sunday, 3/26 morning. The meet announcement will be available soon! The meet events and schedule did not change and is the same as 2022.

Swimmer Eligibility and Application Process:

● The 2023 All-Star Swimmer Application Process REMAINS THE SAME and will take place during the FGC Age Group Champs at Coral Springs on Saturday, March 10th & Sunday, March 12th , 2023.

● Swimmers who finish in the Top 6 in any individual event* (10U, 11-12, and 13-14) are eligible for the All-Star Team. *Distance events are limited per the All-Star meet information.

● Swimmers who age up between AG Champs and the All-Star meet are still eligible to compete. However, they must swim in their new age group. IF an athlete turns 15 on or before March 24th, they are NOT eligible for selection.

● The All-Star Application Table will open starting on Friday, March 10 @ 11:00a.m

● There will be an application fee of $85.00 (payable upon acceptance)

● Application DEADLINE=Sunday, March 12, 2023 - 30 minutes after the last individual event is completed. (NO late apps will be taken)

● Swimmers MUST enter the events they finish highest in! And must swim 6 events in the meet.

● Swimmers must attend all sessions of the meet. NEW DRAFT FORMAT

● Once all FGC and FL Swimming entries are sent to the meet host, there will be a swimmer DRAFT!

● The psych sheet will be used to create 4 Teams (Gators, Sharks, Rays, Barracudas) and each team will consist of swimmers/coaches from both FGC and FL Swimming.

● The Draft is designed to make the teams as even and competitive as possible. It will not be limited to a particular number of swimmers from each LSC.

● A swimmer's team assignment CAN NOT be changed once the draft has taken place. Event selection can not be changed either. Hotel Information: is TBD Please note this trip is parent travel and you are responsible for getting your swimmer to/from the meet. And staying with your swimmer overnight during the meet.

Coach Applications: Coach Applications are now being taken. 2 Head Coaches and 4 Assistant Coaches from FGC will be selected. Applications are due by February 25, 2023
