At the 2015 USA Swimming Golden Goggles Awards, TSM's Jordan Wilimovsky joins Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte as the three finalists for Male Athlete of the Year category. In all, Jordan has been nominated in 3 categories, also including Breakout Performer of the Year and Male Race of the Year. As many of you are aware, Coach Dave Kelsheimer was recently named to the Team USA coaching staff for the FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia this summer. In a ten-day span, TSM's Brendan Casey captured Junior Pan Pac gold and has been named to the 2014-2015 National Junior Team by USA Swimming. Brendan's 1500 time was also nearly 15 seconds faster than the 2016 USA Olympic Trials Standard and gives him his first FINA World 150 ranking. TSM's strength in the Open Water was on display again this weekend at the USA Swimming Open Water National Championships. Jordan Wilimovsky placed 2nd overall in both the 10k and 5k races, the latter being an epic battle decided by 2 tenths of a second. Brendan Casey finished 14th and 10th overall in the two races, and was 2nd in the 18-under division of both. After blasting the Jr National time standard in the 200back (with a 2:06.18) at April's La Mirada meet and dipping under a minute in the 100back, Brendan Casey added two more events to his Jr National racing schedule at the Speedo Grand Challenge with qualifying standards in the 800m (8:23.59) and 1500m (15:49.57) free.
