Canada earned gold in the junior duet event as Andrée-Anne Côté and Halle Prattimproved on their preliminary round score by over a point, earning 80.1667 for their scorpion-themed routine and a total of 154.6262 points.

Americans Caitlin Klauer and Elizabeth Walsh, 4th in the preliminary round, climbed back to capture the silver medal with 149.4622, while Samantha Flores Munoand Madison Fernanda Lopez Gonzales, from Mexico, won the bronze with 148.0333.

In the last event of the competition, the Junior Team finals, Canada's National Team saved their best for last, delivering an energetic performance that got the home crowd to its feet at Talisman Centre. They were rewarded with a dominating routine score of 81.5000 and a combined Championship score of 154.7260 that earned them gold.

Mexico was the silver medal winner with a score of 147.3750 while the Paineiras do Murumby club from Brazil captured bronze with 143.5261.
In the 13-15 team competition, the US National Team won the gold medal with 147.0096. Team Alberta proudly represented its province and won silver with a score of 139.42020 while Mexico won bronze with 137.7909.

The USA was also represented in the 12 and under age group by its National Team which won gold with a score of 131.1402. Team Ontario, the other provincial team entered in these Championships, won silver with 127.5601 while Jalisco club, from Mexico, came third at 126.0473.

Canada also won gold in the Senior Duet Free event as sisters Ioana and Maria Gheta , from Montreal, QC, delivered an inspired performance earning them 78.3333 points from the judges. Ana Lucia Espinoza and Cielomar Romero , from Peru, won silver with 75.1000 while Sofia Pinheiro Franaco Da Costa and Mariana Tucker Giorgi , from club Paineiras do Morumby, in Brazil, won bronze with 74.9667.

In Duet, Americans Nicole Dzurko and Hailee Ana Heinrich were first with 149.6205. In the 13-15 age group, Canadian 13-15 National Team members Emily Armstrong and Paige Hopper finished second with a combined score of 149.0873. Fernanda Arellano and Sofia Becerra, from the Estado de Mexico club, were the bronze medal winners with 139.3045.

In the 12 and under category, Americans Abigail Kartzinel and Chiara Steele captured gold thanks to a score of 130.7948. Veronica Isabella Aranda Espinosa and Geraldine Alejandra Vasquez Perez, from Jalisco club in Mexico, were second at 127.8448 while Marissa Enns and Caroline Hughes, from Team Ontario, won the bronze with 126.5220.

"We are extremely proud of all the athletes who represented Canada at this competition," stated Synchro Canada's Domestic Technical Director Jadine Cleary. "They represent the future of Canadian synchronized swimming and their performance this week is an omen of great things to come for the sport in our country."
