Fulshear's First Competitive Swim Program - FRST

Jan 9, 2019

Fulshear's first swim program will splash down in February 2019.

Led by the aquatic duo of Adam and Aimee Schmitt, Fulshear Racing Swim Team will be a program for all ages from elementary to high school and beyond.

"We really want to provide another option in the community for competitive swimming.  We will do things a little differently by combining a fun learning environment, top notch technique and an emphasis on racing," says Coach Adam.

With more than thirty years in the sport of swimming, Adam grew up as a summer league swimmer in Houston.  "I really loved the racing and it is really what helped me become the athlete I was later in life.  I want our year-around swim program to be fun, and engaging as well as provide a platform for success at whatever level a swimmer desires to acheive."

Another added benefit Coach Adam brings to the pool deck is his vast experience with college coaching and his first hand relationships with many college coaches across the country.

Coach Aimee is excited to be able to work with young developing swimmers.  "There is so much this sport has to offer young kids.  It is an activity that makes you feel good and has so many ways to continually improve as young swimmers grow into the sport," she remarks.

"I love helping new swimmers learn all the strokes and experience their improvement over time."

Coach Aimee started as a young swimmer of seven when she joined a team.  She continued through college where she was a part of the Stanford NCAA championship team.

Fulshear and the surrounding area is excited to welcome thier new program conveniently located in Fulshear.
