MSC-T MASTERS: ADULT SWIM PROGRAM 

The MSC Adult Swim program is geared for swimmers of all levels ranging from ages 18 and up wishing to further the development of their aquatic fitness. 

Whether you are a triathlete trying to supplement your swim training, an ex-college swimmer, or simply trying to reap the health benefits of the lifelong sport of swimming, our Adult Swim Program here with MSC can support your needs.

Swimmers of all fitness levels are encouraged to come out.

Simply come on out to the pool during our scheduled practices, fill out our one time trial waiver and you'll be good to go!

What is your current level of athletic ability?

Total yardage per swim workout based on a 1 hour session

Level 1: 1000 yards and below

This level is designed for those wishing to improve their basic understanding and endurance of the freestyle swim. The level focuses on proper stroke technique, kicking alignment & bilateral breathing all while improving all around aquatic endurance. Ideal for anyone who is looking for a bridge between swimming lessons and the ability to lap swim on their own. 

Level 2:  1200 - 2000 yards 

Level 2 focuses on the further refinement of the freestyle stroke and introduces the proper fundamentals of the backstroke. In this group, yardage is increased and effort levels are assessed on an individual basis for measurable improvement. 

Level 3: 2500 yards - 3200 yards

Recommended for athletes looking to improve their swimming abilities and for those wishing to compete at a USMS (U.S. Masters Swim) level as well as anyone preparing for triathlon or open water competition. This class provides a strong emphasis on endurance & sprint interval training, and advanced swimming drills to challenge the individual and improve overall performance.

Level 4:  3500+ yards

Encompasses all areas of Level 3 with an increase in yardage, interval training and endurance training.
