What is a Swim-a-Thon?
Swim-A-Thon is a USA Swimming Foundation-approved fundraiser used by swim teams all over the United States to raise money for their respective club and the charity of their choice. To raise money for Swim-a-Thon, swimmers receive pledges and donations from family members, friends, neighbors, and local businesses.
SwimRVA’s Learn to Swim program provided access and opportunity to over 2,700 underserved youth each year in Richmond to participate in free swim lessons with their elementary school. 19 of the 27 schools we serve are Title 1 schools. Your support in this year’s Swim-A-Thon will go directly to enable these youth to learn this lifesaving skill and be introduced to aquatics. In addition, proceeds will assist in the expansion of SwimRVA North.
By donating to the Swim-A-Thon fundraiser, you are helping to give worthy kids across Richmond the same great experience in the pool as your family enjoys each day.
Our goal is to raise funds from friends, family, and the RVA community. With our athlete's fundraising participation and your financial support, we will be able to provide critical support to our mission to DROWNPROOF RICHMOND.

The Swim A Thon is a great event for our swimmers to challenge themselves to do their best while helping their TEAM! Please get involved. There will be great incentives for each team member for reaching certain fundraising goals as well as the winning team can claim the grand prize.
