THE ST. JAMES SWIM PROGRAM UTILIZES A PROGRESSION-BASED PROGRAM TO HELP DEVELOP CONFIDENCE IN THE WATER AS WELL AS PROPER SWIMMING TECHNIQUE. OUR COACHES WORK VERY HARD TO MIX A FUN LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WITH TOP LEVEL INSTRUCTION SO THAT EACH SWIMMER CAN DEVELOP A LIFELONG LOVE FOR SWIMMING.

Water Polo Splashball

Ages 5-10 1-2 practices a week for 45 minutes 4 week session Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30-6:45 pm
      Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:00-12:45 pm

An introduction to water polo utilizing a modified game for youth who are not proficient deep-water swimmers. This 4-week course provides the excitement of coed games along with basic instruction in freestyle swimming, treading water and throwing/catching skills. The course will improve a child's water safety and swimming confidence in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Water Polo Quick Start for Youth

 

10-14 years 1-2 practices a week for 60 minutes 4 week session Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30-5:30 pm
      Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:45-1:45 pm

This fast-paced, 4-week course provides a fun and challenging fitness program for every player, combining skills from soccer, basketball, swimming and hockey. New skills will be taught each class and applied in scrimmages, while learning the basic game rules for water polo.  Upon completion of this class the participant will be ready for league games.  Water polo is well documented as one of the top team sports for improving cardio-respiratory endurance and is a beneficial cross training activity for all team sports enthusiasts.

Water Polo Quick Start for Adults

 

Ages 18-90 1-2 practices a week for 90 minutes 4 week session Tuesdays & Fridays 6:30-8:00 pm
