Emma Gallagher

Emma is a rising junior at Woodward Academy where she swims on the varsity team during the winter. She is a former member of DAQ and SwimAtlanta, and is currently a member of the Emory year round swim team. She started swimming for the Cudas when she was 8, so she hopes to help the kids discover their passion for swimming or just have fun like she did. She is looking forward to her first season as a coach.

Claudia Ortega

I am a senior student at (soon to be a graduate from ) Lakeside High School, and I have been swimming competitively for Emory Cudas since I was 6 years old. I have also swam for Lakeside Varsity Team for four years in several tournaments and competitions and I am planning on swimming intramural while I pursue my career at Georgia Tech. For my varsity and academic performances I have been inducted as an athlete scholar to the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association of America (NISCAA) this past February. I am also a licensed lifeguard by Red Cross and Swim Atlanta.  As a returning junior coach I am committed to bring the best of my experience and knowledge in this sport to each practice and competition, and to make this summer a great one for the Cuda swimmers.
