Q: What is your club code and team name?

A: LTF - LifeTime Utah Swim Club

 

Q:  How much does it cost to join your competitive swim team?

A:  Our prices range from $70 per month for beginner swimmers to $85 for advance level programs.

 

Q:  Why is family commitment so important to your team and to this sport?

A:  Your child needs your commitment and support through their challenges as well as their successes.  The best swimmers have families that support them and the Life Time Utah team philosophy.  This support leads to swimmers achieving their goals while developing into responsible, self-motivated, confident, and successful adults.

 

Q:  Is it true that if you’re not committed to swimming you shouldn't join your team?

A:  Life Time Utah Swim Team is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

 

Q:  Is it true that if you don’t come to practice you’ll be kicked off the team?

A:  Kids are not kicked off our team for not being able to come to practice. We provide a practice schedule and are hopeful you will come as often as your family schedule will allow. The more a swimmer is in the water, the better the swimmer will get. We encourage you to come as often as you can, but we don’t kick swimmers off because they can’t get to the pool.

However, non-communication with the Head Coach about multiple absences can get a swimmer demoted to a less demanding team for the remainder of the season. Any swimmer that misses 1 month of training during a season without communicating with the Head Coach will be grounds for a demotion. A swimmer may tryout for the team they were demoted from the following season under the discretion of the Head Coach.

 

Q. How do I sign up?

A: Schedule a swim coach assessment.  Just email us or call 801-302-3723. Upon completion of the assessment, registration can begin.

 

Q: How do I pay for my child to participate?

A: Fees are prorated for a partial month and an initial payment in the form of cash, check, or credit card is required.  Club tab can be utilized.  Afterwards, program fees are assessed on the 1stof each month by automatic EFT with your Life Time Club membership dues.

 

Q: My swimmer has other activities or a vacation and needs to take a break.  How do we stop the program?

A: Just submit a 30 Day Notice Cancelation Form to the Swim Services Desk located on the Indoor Pool Deck.  Partial months are prorated for mid month cancelations.  Please keep in mind that space is limited and returning swimmers may have to be placed on a waiting list before being able to return to the program.
