Swim Meets:
- Where do I purchase a team suit?
- On our homepage, there is a button called "Team Store" under the pictures. You can also access it from the TopTab: Parents.
- How do I get a SUSA team cap?
- At your child's first meet or at practice -- just have them ask a coach.
- Where can I see a schedule of meets and events?
- From the homepage, it's under the TopTab: Events.
- When is the deadline for signing up for a meet?
- That information will be under the meet's info -- typically about 1-2 weeks before the meet.
- How do I sign up for meets and meet jobs?
- Click on the TopTab: Events, then scroll to find the meet by name and date.
- Click the button "Attend/Decline" and choose attend. Save.
- For jobs, click the button "Job Signup," choose your preferred job and click "Signup."
- If you don't know what the jobs are, there is a "volunteer description" link when you scroll over the TopTab: Events.
- How do I see my child’s events for the meets?
- After Coaches have chosen events, you'll be able to see it after you click the "Attend/Decline" button listed above.
- How long are meets?
- Depending on the type of meet, plan on about 3-5 hours.
- If my child doesn’t attend a meet, is there still practice?
- If it is a meet we host, no practices will be held.
- If it is an away meet or one we don't host, we will still hold practices.
Practices and Required Gear:
- How do I know when practices are?
- There is a practice schedule posted under the TopTab: Parents
- How will I know about practice changes?
- We HIGHLY recommend you sign up for text alerts.
- To do this, log in to your account and enter information under "SMS" and "Carrier" fields.
- It will send you a text message to verify it's you. Click on it, then you're signed up.
- What gear do I need to purchase for my swimmer?
- There is a list of required gear on the website under
Financial:
- What did I pay for at registration?
- At registration, you paid for your child's annual SUSA membership and the Uniform Fee (t-shirt and cap). You did NOT pay for USA Swimming membership or team suit (which are required) nor for monthly dues. - When do I pay monthly dues?
- Monthly dues are automatically charged on the first of the month. You can also do a payment called an on-demand payment at any time during the month for any outstanding balances.
- What other expenses should I plan for?
- Meet fees are not included in monthly dues. Additional team caps or equipment fees may also be charged. Fundraising obligations are yearly, as are service hours.
