The purpose of the Silver team is to develop junior levels swimmers to qualify and compete in local and state level competitions.

Training Philosophy: The team is focused on the continued development of the 400 IM 200 of each stroke, and 500 FS with a growing development of specialization for older senior swimmers. Our coaching staff has a strong belief in the importance of developing good 400 IM and 200 stroke swimmers. There is a strong correlation to great 400 IM swimmers and quality swims in all other events. As a result of this philosophy our training plans are developed with the goal of creating versatile swimmers.

Meet Attendance: Swimmers are expected to attend at least one meet per month. Coaches will work with each swimmer to determine which events they will swim at each competition. These meets have been planned by the coaching staff and have been placed inside the training plan, making them important to attend as a progression of the training plan.

Goal Setting: In order to create an effective training plan, it is important that coaches and swimmers know where swimmers want to be. Goal setting is the process we use to determine where each swimmer wants to be in the short and long term.

Swimming in College: We believe that all swimmers who wish to swim in college can have that opportunity. In order to make this a reality it is important to continue swimming club through the high school years. A major part of the WOW club is to encourage a life-long love of swimming and swimming in college is part of that process.
