Junior 1 (J1):  Ages 8 - 11.  Designed for swimmers new to the sport.  Focus on learning the fundamentals of all 4 strokes, kicking and body position.  Swimmers in this group will also be introduced to dives and flip turns.

Junior 2 (J2):  Ages 9 - 12. Continued development of all 4 strokes, flip turns and dives. Introduction of short aerobic based sets, learning how to sprint and introduction to race strategies.

Senior:  Ages 14-18.  Swimmers in this group are focused on swimming in high school and enjoying the sport of swimming in a less intensive environment.  In some cases, either based on commitment, development that has been slowed, or perhaps a late start to the sport, a swimmer might find this to be the best fit for them until they bridge the gap and are ready for NTG.

National Training Group (NTG):  Ages 14-18.   Swimmers are on track for State, Regional & National levels of competition.  Priority will be to prepare athletes regionally and nationally for collegiate swimming.  Provide short & long term goal setting and introduce strength training.  Technique improvements and conditioning level will be designed to challenge each individual.  Athletes must be approved by Head Coach to participate in this group.  Swimmers are expected to attend 90% of the practices.
