Junior Age Group

Junior Age Group (JAG) = The JAG group is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 5 through 11 years of age and continues to build the base of the CCA Marlins program. This group is great for anyone who is new to year round competitive swimming. Stroke technique will be the foundation of this group with an introduction into competitive training.

JAG will meet three times per week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:45-6:30pm.

JAG season will be broken into 2 different seasons:

#1 Short course season which means swimming in a 25 yard pool for swim meets and practices. Short course season starts on September 12th, 2022 and ends on March 25th, 2023.

#2 Long course season which means swimming in a 50 meter pool for swim meets and some of the practices. Long course season starts on April 11th, 2023 and ends on July 29th, 2023.

                              Age Group Swimmers Program

Age Group Silver (AGS) = The AGS group is the second step in our competitive Age Group swimming program.  Practices will continue to place an emphasis on proper stroke technique while also building a larger aerobic base for each swimmer that will help progress them to higher age group teams. Dryland will become more integral to the swimmers training program and swimmers will learn the value of consistency, hard work, and reward in a fun yet intense training environment.

AGS is comprised mainly of swimmers ages 10 through 13 years.

AGS has 5 practices a week on Mon-Fri and are approximately 60-90 minutes in length.

AGS swimmers will compete regularly and have a 'short course' season September 6th, 2022 - March 31th, 2023 and a 'long course' season that runs April 10th - July 29th 2023.

                                             Senior Programs

Senior Development (SRD) = The SRD group is our competitive Senior swimming program. A strong commitment is recommended for admittance into this group.  Physical conditioning (wet and dry) and the ability to maintain proper technique during rigorous practice sessions are the focal points of each swimmer and coach. Swimmers will be expected to attend practice and competitions on a regular basis in order to help increase one's aerobic capacity, stroke proficiency and upward movement in the sport of swimming.

SRD is comprised mainly of swimmers 14 through 18 years old.

SRD has 4-5 practices a week and can elect practices from Tues-Saturday. Practices are approximately 90-120 minutes in length.
