The Blue Group is geared toward our older swimmers who have legal strokes and have the stamina for longer-based swimming sets accomplished by swimmers in Red Group. All aspects of competitive swimming are to be legally performed on a consistent basis for new swimmers to the team. Also for swimmers who have achieved Senior Champ qualifying times, but who have also shown the stamina for repeating intervals on a 1:20 per 100 yard freestyle training level on an easy aerobic level. These swimmers have achieved championship-level standards and are focused and motivated to continue to achieve at a higher level. (15 and Older, 13+ w/ Senior Champ Cuts)

Objectives: Swimmers in this group are to set season and long-term goals for themselves at the beginning of the season, meet with a coach to discuss these goals, and revisit goals at the mid-point of the season. Swimmers in this group will focus on constantly increasing training levels in conjunction with their goals and level of respective competition. Practices will be continually modified according to levels achieved throughout the season per subgroup within the training group and also according to the appropriate training regimen ascertained by coaching staff. 

Practice time: 2 hours (Excluding Dryland)

Swimmers are encouraged to attend at least 5 - 6 practices a week.

Necessary Equipment: Goggles, Cap, 2 pairs of Fins(1 will be altered), kickboard, pull buoy, paddles, snorkel, jump rope, stretch cords/bands, mesh bag, Tempo Trainer, Parachute
