We are dedicated to TEACHING the Art of Swimming and PERFECTING the Game of Racing!!

AGE GROUP - This level allows for an intensified practice environment for an experienced young swimmer or a rapidly advancing swimmer. Fundamentals continue to be emphasized in a cyclical fashion at this level - but training physiology elements (power, speed, muscular and aerobic endurance) are also introduced. 

We offer two AGE GROUP training groups: Age Group A and Age Group B

The primary coach for the Age Group training groups are Amy Howard.

Age Group 1 trains at our Evergreen facility. There is a continued emphasis on fundamental techniques in our Age Group B training group. We introduce athletes to interval training and focus on aerobic development.

Age Group B practice schedule: 4-6 practices are recommended per week

Monday - Friday: 5:15 pm - 6:45 pm

Saturday: 10:00 am - 11:45 am

Dryland - Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 4:40 pm - 5:10 pm

 

Age Group 2 trains at our Evergreen facility. There is continued emphasis on fundamental techniques in this training group. More intricate strategies for the longer and more difficult events are introduced. Practice sessions are increased in length and in the number expected per week. This allows for improved physiological adaptations in muscular and aerobic endurance.

Age Group A practice schedule: 5-6 practices are recommended per week

Monday - Friday: 6:45 pm - 8:30 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Dryland - Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 6:00 pm - 6:40 pm
