South Eastern Virginia Aquatics (SEVA) is a multilevel organization designed to teach and instruct children and young adults at any level of experience in swimming. Every program is oriented to place a swimmer in the best learning environment to meet his/her needs. These programs include private swim lessons, the SEVA Stroke School and the SEVA Competitive Swim Team. All programs are intended to give the best instruction and allow children to progressively advance as they learn, refine swimming skills and reach for higher levels of achievement. Please contact us with questions about our team.

The following is information for families interested in joining SEVA for the 1st time.

In order for your swimmer to be placed in the correct group/program, our coaching staff does evaluations and gives you our recommendations. Please note the following steps:

Step 1: Please give us a call to set up an evaluation appointment.

Step 2: Review Program Information. There are many ways to obtain information about the SEVA programs. Review the information posted to our web site, a packet of information will be given to you at the evaluation and ask us as many questions as you would like.

Step 3: We hope you have decided to register in a SEVA program. If so, from the home page of our web site, please click on the registration box.

SEVA does tryouts/evaluations by appointment at the Fort Eustis Aquatic Center and Newport News Midtown Community Center. Find out what practice group your swimmer would fit into in our program. Our evaluations includes time to allow you to have all of your questions answered. Please give us a call at 757-897-6127 for an appointment.
