Since 2000, the Virginia Gators of Charlottesville has offered high-quality swim training from beginner to elite with a focus on balancing physical, social, and emotional development in assisting swimmers to reach their personal goals. Head Coach JJ Bean, in his 23rd year leading the Gators, is committed to providing a personal approach to helping every swimmer improve every day. 

The Gators are taking a brief hiatus this winter due to lack of pool space in the Charlottesville area. If you are looking for a swim program that shares our program values, we highly recommend the BASS Swim Team at Boar's Head and the Shenandoah Marlins Aquatic Club at the Crozet Park Pool. Coach JJ Bean will be assisting those programs where many of our swimmers will practice this winter. We hope to offer our Summer Prep program this April and May to get your swimmer ready for the JSL season. Please check back often for updates!
