Victory Swim Team Celebrates Her 2022 Tennessee State Championship Swimmers

In her inaugural season, Victory Swim Team had 8 State Qualifiers that represented their respective high schools at the 2022 TISCA State Championships in Nashville, Tennessee on February 11 & 12th.
Six of Victory's swimmers are Freshman at their first ever State Championships: Charlie Houston, Evan King and Karolina Nosarzewski representing the Farragut Admirals; Annika Fletcher, Kolby Leach and Christopher Rector swimming for Concord Christian (CCS).
Sophmore Logan Hall also swims for CCS; while Junior River Bailey represents Lenoir City High School.
All 8 swimmers qualified for at least 2 events, the maximum allowable number of individual races at the State Meet. All 8 also had the opportunity to be part of their school’s relays teams.
The Concord Christian Boys Relay Team of Logan Hall, Kolby Leach, Christopher Rector and Kolby’s brother, CCS Valedictorian Kade Leach had a very successful Knoxville City Championships, where they took Gold Medal victories in both the 200 Free and 200 Medley Relays. They continued their success at the state level. The boys made the consolation finals in the 200 Medley Relay and made the Top 8 Finals in the 200 Free Relay. In Finals, They swam to a 10th place finish in the 200 Medley and a 4th Place in the 200 Free Relay!! Congratulations on 4th in the state!!
Swimming for Lenoir City High School, Junior River Bailey went personal bests in both his races, the 50 and 100 Freestyles!
As a Freshman, Karolina was selected as the anchor of the Farragut Girls 200 Free Relay, where she swam her fastest (and Farragut’s fastest) 50 split time of 24.91! Their team placed 9th. Individually, Karolina placed 13th in the 100 breaststroke and she also went a best time in her 50 Free! Congrats!
On the Farragut Boys Team, Evan King was the Breastroke leg for their 200 medley relay team that qualified for Top 8 Finals and held their 6th place finish! Individually, he improved his 100 breaststroke personal best again, by dropping to a 1:02! Charlie Houston swam to 2 personal bests in both the 200 and 500 Freestyles! Great job boys!
CCS Sophomore Logan Hall swam to a personal best time in the 100 back and placed 14th in the 100 Fly! Logan’s relay teammate, Freshman Kolby Leach had a successful meet, swimming to two new personal bests in both his 50 Free and 100 Free. He had the opportunity to swim the 50 Free 3 times at the meet, every time getting a little faster, until the 3rd swim he finally made his SouthEastern Cut in the 50 Freestyle! (3rd time’s a charm!)
Annika Fletcher had the distinction of being the only female swimmer to represent Concord Christian High School at the 2022 TISCA State Championships. Personally, Annika shattered her personal best 100 Back time by over 2 seconds! Way to go!
Congratulations to ALL 2022 STATE QUALIFIERS! We celebrate and congratulate our team's swimmers, their effort and achievements and, of course, all personal bests!
Karolina, Evan, Christopher, Logan, Kolby and River will all be swimming next, representing Victory, at the 2022 SouthEastern Championships on February 25-27th at the Hunstsville Aquatic Center in Alabama! Good luck swimmers!
