Victory Qualifies Half Its Team for 2022 SouthEastern Championships

Victory Swim Team, in its very first season, saw half the team qualify for the 2022 SouthEastern Championships, taking place on March 25-27th.
Out of 14 swimmers, 7 qualifed for the Championship Meet held in Huntsville, Alabama , which is a regional championships with swimmers qualiying from the states of Alabama, Tennessee and Florida. Four of the seven qualifiers - River Bailey, Evan King, Kolby Leach and Christopher Rector - were first time SouthEastern qualifiers. For River, Evan and Kolby, this was also their first season as USA Swimming year-round swimmers.
There were many personal bests and victories. Here are some highlights:
- Our relays were fast, with our 200 Free Relay Team of River, Kolby, Christopher and Logan Hall placing 9th overall, beating all other Knoxville Teams.
- Karolina Nosarzewski swam to a 4th place medal in the 13-14 50 Breast! Great Job!
- Logan Hall set a new bar for Victory Swimming by qualifying for the NCSA meet standards in both the 100 and 200 Back! He also went 5 of 6 personal bests over the course of the meet. Congratulations Logan!
- Meanwhile, the standout swimmer of the meet was 12 year old Landon Hall. Landon swam to 100% personal bests, 4 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and was 2nd place in the overall high point Award for his age group. He also put up several new personal bests that are currently Top 30 in the United States for his age group! Monster Congratulations Landon!!
Karolina and Landon will go on to represent Victory at the ESSZ Sectionals in March at the TAC Titans Aquatic Center in Cary, NC. Good luck!!
