Vallejo Aquatics Club and the Parent Community this team has had over the decades has been superb. Known around Pacific Swimming as being one of the best teams of Parent Volunteers and doing their responsibilities at a high level. I truly believe that has been the community and culture that parents bring to this club year in and year out. VJO has been a huge family oriented team dating all the way back to when it first started back in 1956. We love our parents here at Vallejo Aquatics Club and welcome everyone who wants to be a part of our Family!

Testimonies from VJO Families :

The Vallejo Aquatics Club was a wonderful family experience for our daughters. So many memories and friendships were made at VJO. The meets that we hosted were so much fun, even in the pouring rain! The snack bar had the best Chicken Adobo & Lumpia. I swear no one went hungry. If you were ever late for your events, you could always count on hearing Coach Tuffy's voice yelling the swimmer's name. It is so nice to see another generation of VJO swimmers getting to experience this family!"

My family and I have been involved with Vallejo Aquatics Club since the early 90's. VJO is more than a swim team, it is a family. My brotehr and I were raised by VJO, learning important personal values both in and out of the water. VJO friends, families, and coaches from my days as an athlete remain an important part of my life. VJO is so important to my familiy that my sons are now athletes with the team. Because my sons have joined VJO, I have since found myself back with my swimming family, too! When we rejoined the team, I became a stroke-and-turn official. I have also joined the parent board as the communications chair (2021-Present). With his nephews swimming, my brother also volunteers with the team as a timing system operator. Vallejo Aquatics Club remains one of the backbones of youth athletics, family, and community in Vallejo as it has been since 1956. I know my children will learn the same values that I did as a young swimmer.
